This website is operated by ZB Web Shop GmbH and is the official online retailer of ZONKEY BOOT™. As such, it offers a selection of Zonkey Boot high end men’s shoes, fitted trees and belts produced in Italy from quality materials, with know-how and experience, skillful technique and craftsmanship. As the brand owner and official online distributor of ZONKEY BOOT™, we guarantee for the authenticity of our products.
The purchase of items offered on www.zonkeyboot.com website is subject to the present Terms and Conditions and your acceptance of these terms will be mandatory at the placement of your order on this website or via e-mail for Made-To-Order products.
According to availability and dispatch time, our offer is divided in:
- STOCK ITEMS: Shoes and fitted trees which are currently in stock and which can be dispatched within 2-3 working days.
- PRE-ORDER ITEMS: Shoes and trees that can be pre-ordered in your size and which will be manufactured within an estimated timeframe of 10-14 weeks and dispatched when ready.
- MADE-TO-MEASURE belts that will be made to your size and dispatched within 5-7 working days.
- MADE-TO-ORDER shoes and belts, that will be manufactured exclusively for you, according to your specifications for each available option and in your size, within an estimated timeframe of 10-14 weeks.

All ZONKEY BOOT shoes come in UK sizes. To make sure you order the best suitable size, please read carefully our Shoe Guide; we have prepared a thorough description of our different lasts and an accurate Size Conversion chart that covers UK, French and US sizes.
ZONKEY BOOT handmade belts are offered as Made-to-Measure products. For ordering a belt you are required to choose your personal size, according to which the belt will be modified. For this reason, our Made-to-Measure belts cannot be returned. To measure yourself correctly, we kindly ask you to read carefully our Belt Guide before ordering.
Our shoes are packed in white ZONKEY BOOT branded boxes and re-packed in neutral carrier boxes to protect the original box. Every box contains, besides the shoes, two black branded shoe bags and spare laces.
The ZONKEY BOOT Made-to-Measure belts, come in branded black boxes.
A photograph is an image of an object captured in a certain light condition; when photographing our shoes, we use neutral studio lights or natural light and neutral camera settings. We do our best to display the colors of our products on this website, but since computer screens vary, we cannot guarantee that your screen will display colors accurately. Moreover, most of our products are hand stained and a certain amount of colour variation is to be expected.
By registering an account with us, you may track the status of your order and access your order history. Saving your billing, shipping address and contact information will make future purchases faster. Creating an account is entirely optional and if you don’t want to register, you will be able to make purchases as a guest.
To purchase Stock items, Pre-Order shoes or Made-to-Measure belts, you may place an order in the Online Boutique area of our website www.zonkeyboot.com. For Made-to-Order shoes please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for an offer.
By making a successful payment on your order, you make a binding offer to us to conclude the purchase contract. The purchase contract between you and ZB Web Shop GmbH becomes effective upon the dispatch of the merchandise.
Products and prices for products offered on our website are subject to availability. In exceptional cases, technical or human errors may occur, therefore we reserve the right to make ammendments to our offer.
If a product which you have ordered is not available for dispatch due to errors in our stock, you will be notified by e-mail as soon as possible. In case you wish to cancel your order, you will be immediately fully refunded. If you wish to order another product instead, you may also opt for a store credit for the debited sum.
ZB Web Shop GmbH reserves the right to cancel any order placed on its website.
If you have placed an order for stock items and you wish to cancel it, you may do so before your order has been processed. If the order has been processed and the merchandise has been dispatched, cancelling an order is not possible anymore.
Orders for Pre-Order items may be cancelled within seven calendar days after they have been processed. If your shoes have entered the production cycle, we might accept your request for canceling the order against an administrative fee of euro 50,00, which will be deducted from your refund.
Orders for Made-to-Measure belts can be cancelled only if the order hasn’t been processed. If the belt has been already adjusted to your size, the order cannot be cancelled anymore.
Orders for Made-to-Order or customised products can be cancelled within seven calendar days. After this period, if you decide to cancel your order, the 50% advance payment made at the placement of your order will be forfeited.
PRICES AND CURRENCY
For a correct listing of prices and shipping costs, please choose your Shipping Country by using the selection tool found on each product page and in the Shopping Bag.
All prices published on this website and on the final invoices are in Euro. We only accept payments in this currency.
For shipping to EU countries: All prices listed on the website include 20% VAT (Value Added Tax) and don’t include shipping costs.
For shipping to non-EU countries: All prices listed on this website are in Euro and don’t include VAT, shipping costs or any import duties, customs and local sales taxes imposed by your country.
For shipping to Russia: All prices listed on this website are in Euro and include customs duties, charges and import taxes. Shipping costs are listed separately.
TAXES AND DUTIES
If you are shopping from a non-EU country (except Russia), please take into consideration that you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by your country. Since we are not able to estimate how much these extra-charges will be, we advice you to inform yourself at your local Customs Office.
Please note that taxes, duties and charges will be invoiced to you and levied by the courier services or your local post service. In some countries the post announces you to pick up the parcel from Customs directly in order to balance import taxes and duties.
For orders placed via our website we offer the following payment methods:
– CREDIT CARDS: VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. Please note that our system accepts only cards which are enrolled in 3D Secure protocols. These 3D Secure protocols protect your credit card from unauthorized use when shopping online. To make a 3D secure payment you have to register first with your card issuer to obtain your own private password and/or register for additional proof of authentication (SMS, fingerprint etc). Each time you try to make a payment on our website, you will be prompted by your credit card issuing bank to provide this password or other additional means of authentication. All credit card payments on our website are processed through STRIPE, an online payment processing service (For more information, please visit www.stripe.com).
– PAYPAL: When selecting PayPal as your prefered payment method, you will be redirected towards the PayPal website to make your payment.
– DIRECT BANK TRANSFER or BANK TRANSFER VIA TRANSFERWISE
When selecting payment by Direct Bank Transfer / TransferWise in the Checkout Page of our website you will automatically receive an order receipt which includes our company’s bank account details necessary to pay for your order by bank transfer.
You may make the payment, within 5 working days, directly via your bank or by using TransferWise, an online payment service that offers users several options for making international bank transfers in different currencies. For more information about TransferWise, please visit www.transferwise.com.
If you prefer to pay via TransferWise, please initiate the payment by accessing the www.transferwise.com platform.
(TransferWise requires creating a user account on their platform and completing the identity confirmation process.)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Your order will be processed and shipped (or put in production if it contains pre-order items) only when the funds have reached our company’s bank account. Your invoice will be issued and sent to you once the payment has been completed. If we do not receive your payment within 5 working days, your order will be cancelled.
For MADE-TO-ORDER products or any other stock or Pre-Order items ordered by email, we only accept payments via DIRECT BANK TRANSFER or BANK TRANSFER VIA TRANSFERWISE.
In order to keep your costs for transport as low as possible and transparent we offer two shipping options to every destination (except Russia, for which only one shipping option is available):
PRIORITY POST OR STANDARD POST: The parcels are forwarded by Austrian Post as Priority International Parcels and will be delivered to your address by the Austrian Post or by their local partner in your country. The duration and costs of your delivery depend on the destination and can be seen in your Shopping Bag. To countries where Priority International Parcel service is not available, we offer shipping by standard postal service.
COURIER SERVICE: Depending on your shipping destination, we offer courier services through either UPS (to European countries) or EMS – Austria (to the rest of the world, except Russia). The duration and costs of your delivery depend on the destination and can be seen in your Shopping Bag.
SHIPPING TO RUSSIA: To our Russian customers we offer Delivery Duties Paid service (landed prices) through our contract forwarder, O.T.S. All customs duties, charges and import taxes are included in the prices displayed on the website when browsing from Russia, while shipping costs are shown separately.
All shipping options listed above are limited to a maximum weight of 10 kg per single order.
Made-to-measure belts cannot be shipped to People’s Republic of China.
IMPORTANT DISPATCH & DELIVERY INFORMATION
STOCK SHOES and SHOE TREES: We dispatch orders within 2-3 working days after we have confirmed your order.
PRE-ORDER SHOES: We need between 8-12 weeks to produce a pair in your size; therefore your shoes will be dispatched when the order is ready. We will do our best to finalise your order earlier than that if possible.
MADE-TO-MEASURE BELTS: Orders can be dispatched earliest in 5-7 working days after the placement of your order, since the belt needs to be adjusted to your precise size. Important information for non-EU customers: Made-to-Measure belts from crocodile leather require an additional 5-10 working days for the release of the CITES certificate mandatory for all shipments of exotic leather products to non-EU countries.
MIXED ORDERS: If you have ordered a Made-to-Measure belt or placed in your Shopping Bag a Pre-Order for a pair of shoes along with other products that are in stock, your entire order will be dispatched when the item with the later dispatch date will be ready. If you wish to have the stock products delivered faster, please place separate orders for products with a different dispatch date.
Please note that the shipping services are provided by third-party contracters and these companies don’t offer a guaranteed delivery time, only an estimated one. The estimated runtime for your delivery starts from the moment you receive from us an e-mail confirmation stating that your parcel has been dispatched.
If you are not at the shipping address you have provided, when the delivery is made, make sure that an authorized person is taking over the parcel for you. If nobody is present at your shipping address, the forwarder will leave a notification. Try not to overlook this notification.
Late deliveries are to be handled as follows, depending on the shipping method you have opted for:
For Priority and Standard Post: Please inform us about overdue deliveries earliest 5 days after the estimated delivery time has expired. We will track your parcel and keep you updated on the progress continuously. Since your parcel may be stored at your local post office, a profound search in case of loss can only be initiated after the storage time at the destination has expired. In most countries this is 4 to 6 weeks. For a full refund in case of loss, please allow 3 weeks after expired storage time at your local post office.
For Courier Service (UPS or EMS) and (for shipments to Russia) O.T.S.: Please contact us if your parcel has not arrived 3 days after the given runtime has expired. We will track your parcel and keep you updated on the progress continuously. In case we cannot track your parcel and our forwarder is unable to find it within 3 weeks, we will immediately refund the full amount of the invoice to your credit card, bank or PayPal account.
OUR RETURN POLICY
If you have purchased stock items or pre-ordered shoes from us and you wish to return them, you may do so within 14 days from the date you received your parcel.
Items must be returned new and unused. All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface; avoid flexing your feet to keep the leather from making pleads at the vamps. Shoes that are returned with marked soles or any other visible signs of wearing will not be accepted. Make sure you return all items that have been shipped to you along with the shoes: original box, shoe bags and shoe laces.
We don’t accept returns on any Made-to-Order products.
Our handmade belts are only offered as Made-to-Measure and they are adjusted to fit precisely to the measure you have given us during the ordering process. Therefore, we cannot accept returns on this type of product.
All returns must have a Return Number provided by us at your request. This number is helping us to identify your return when it arrives at our warehouse. Unidentified returns may be shipped back to the sender.
The shipment costs for returning merchandise must be covered by you. In cases of warranty, we refund a limited amount of the customer’s return shipping costs. (See our Refund Policy below.)
From the moment you have received your package and until it arrives back to our warehouse, you are fully responsible for the merchandise. If your return gets lost or it is damaged in transit, you are liable for the value of the items and, therefore, you will not be refunded.
REQUEST FOR A RETURN NUMBER
If you want to return a product to us you have to obtain a Return Number. Click on Request For A Return Number.
Please fill in the form as accurately as possible for us to be able to identify your order. Within 24 hours you will receive your Return Number and all necessary documents and instructions for returning your products.
For customers outside EU: All parcels sent back to us must be accompanied by the necessary customs documentation. This documentation, which we will send to you along with the Return Number, enables your parcel to be cleared through the Austrian Customs. Returns without proper customs documentation will not be cleared by the Austrian Customs and will therefore be refused and returned to you.
SHIPPING OF RETURNS
Your return must be sent from the same country, to which we made the original shipment.
Returns in transit are entirely your responsibility. Therefore, we recommend that you use a secure trackable means to return your purchase to us. Keep a tracking number and/or the forwarder’s receipt of the returned shipment, as a proof of dispatch.
Make sure that the merchandise reaches our warehouse within 21 days after you have received your package.

For customers outside EU: All items you wish to return must be accompanied by the proper customs documentation, which you have received from us, via e-mail, along with the Return Number.
Returns that reach us outside the timeframe of 21 days (after you have received your package) may be accepted at our discretion and may only be refunded to you as a store credit.
All items have been controlled and checked for any possible faults before put into stock, to avoid the shipment of faulty goods to you. Nevertheless, if you believe that we have supplied you with faulty goods, contact us immediately by e-mail at email@example.com.
After we have received the returned merchandise, we will inspect it and decide if your complaint is accepted. If accepted, we will fully refund you or replace the item, depending on its availability.
Please note that any refund in case of returned merchandise can only be initiated after the merchandise has arrived and has been inspected. Please allow 7 days to inspect the returned merchandise. If your return is accepted, we will immediately issue the refund to your credit card. The necessary time for the amount to show on your card account depends on your credit card company. Please contact your card issuer for this information.
REFUNDS FOR PRODUCTS:
In case of a successful return, the value of the merchandise will be fully refunded to you.
REFUNDS FOR SHIPPING:
– For returns from EU countries: we only refund the equivalent shipping cost for the Priority or Standard Post; independently of the shipment method you have chosen. If you have chosen to have your merchandise shipped by Courier Services, we will not refund you the cost difference.
– For returns from non-EU countries: we don’t refund your initial shipping costs, independently of the shipping method you have opted for.
– For returns from Russia: we don’t refund your initial shipping costs.
– For all returns: We do not refund any of your expenses for returning your purchases, neither for transportation, nor for packaging etc.
– For returns of faulty goods: If your claim is accepted, we refund the entire value of the merchandise and the shipping costs equivalent to Priority or Standard Postal Service.
Any losses that are caused by currency fluctuations will not be refunded.
We do not refund any taxes, customs duties and charges claimed by the Customs Authorities of your country. However, if you have paid these duties and wish to claim them back, please contact your local Customs Office.
If you have purchased a pair of shoes that doesn’t fit, you can opt to exchange it for another size. In this case, contact us immediately for reserving the item in the size you wish to have. Once the initial pair has been returned and reached our warehouse, we will ship the exchange pair. Shipping on the replacement item is free of charge and will be done by Standard Postal Service.
To return the first purchased item, please request for a Return Number and specify on the form, in the ‘Comments’ field, that you wish to exchange the size and specify the new size you opt for.
Please note that this free of shipping charges service is only provided one time for one item. In case we don’t have your designated size in stock or we will not restock it within an acceptable time period, we will refund you under the regular conditions for Returns.
Important information: Please take into consideration that if you are based outside the EU, you might have to pay taxes and duties on the exchange item.
