Seven-eyelet wholecut derby boot, on the Sailor last. The uppers for this unique pattern have been cut from one single piece of Russian Calf leather and lasted entirely by hand. The boots feature mid-brown calf leather lining, vegetable tanned bovine leather insoles, pull tabs and rounded leather laces. The soles are hand welted and have leather middle soles and rubber soles, highly resistant to abrasion. The upper leather has been burnished for a slight antique effect.
More information and a video on hand lasting are available in The Journal: The Art of Lasting Shoes by Hand.
