Five-eyelet derby boot, on the Sailor last. The upper has been cut from one single piece of shrunken bull shoulders, stained by hand with aniline dyes and lasted entirely by hand.
The boots feature hand welted leather middle soles and dense micro rubber soles, mid-tan calf leather lining, vegetable tanned bovine leather insoles and rounded leather laces. The upper leather has been burnished.
More information and a video on hand lasting are available in The Journal: The Art of Lasting Shoes by Hand.
